Birulia Jamidar Bari Savar Dhaka

'Birulia' is the name of a small village on the banks of Turag River. This Birulia village very close to Dhaka city is well known for more than ten traditional structures. At the end of Birulia village is the house of Zamindar Rajnikant Ghosh, which is now known as Birulia Jamidar Bari . As it is located near Dhaka, many people rush to see Birulia Zamindar's house, which is a witness of history and archeological heritage.

According to local residents, Rajnikanth Ghosh bought this house from the landlord Nalini Mohan Saha for Rs 8960 4 anis. Although Rajnikant Ghosh had properties in various places in the past, only the Birulia zamindar house remains vacant.

Descendants of Rajnikant Ghosh are currently living in this house of landlord Rajnikant Ghosh. The headquarters, rest-rooms, court-rooms, pawnshops and horse-stables of the zamindar houses are being used for various purposes.

From anywhere in the capital Dhaka, first come to Mirpur No. 1 sector. From there, you can take Alif Enterprise, Kiranmala Paribahan, Shatabdi Paribahan buses and go directly to Birulia Bridge. Birulia Bridge can also be reached from Mirpur 1 via Laguna.

Besides, from Abdullahpur, Baipail or Ashulia, Mirpur Beribadh can be reached by car going to Mirpur 1 and going to Birulia Bridge.

On reaching Birulia Bridge, if you ask any local, they will show you the way to Birulia Zamindar's house.
