Satvaikhum Bandarban

Satvaikhum is a clear cool water stream surrounded by mountains and greenery, not far from Amiyakhum falls in Bandarban district. Crossing the waterways of Satvaikhum on a bamboo raft can suddenly feel like an unexpected visitor to a rock fort. It goes without saying that you will enjoy the beauty around with fascinated eyes. The sky-high rocky mountains, the solemnity of the green nature and the swaying green waterways are busy giving a miraculous welcome to the visitors who come here. Satvaikhum is incomparable in beauty and thrill.

Satvaikhum is named after the seven large boulders that fell from the mountain of the deity. The first of the seven large stones was recently broken into two pieces. And the locals believe that this has happened due to the curse of the gods as a result of freely cutting trees from the mountains.

A 15 to 20 minute walk upstream from Amiyakhum falls leads to Satvaikhum. From Dhaka reach Bandarban district by jeep or bus and take a boat to Padmukh via Thanchi. After that you have to trek across Paddjiri and spend the night at Thuichapara. The next morning you can start trekking again and return to Bandarban via Remakri after seeing Devatapahar, Amiyakhum, Velakhum, Satvaikhum, Nafakhum one by one.
