Jamburi Park Chittagong

A modern Jamburi Park has been built on SM Morshed Road in Agrabad, the commercial city of Chittagong, Bangladesh . Before 2018, this area of ​​about 8.5 acres was abandoned. Apart from Sonalu, Nageshwar, Champa, Radhachura, Champa, Bakul, Shiuli, Cycas, Togar, Jarul etc. trees, about 65 species of 10,000 saplings have been planted in Jamburi Park. And for visitors to walk, this park has 8,000 feet of path covered with green grass.

The park looks most beautiful in the evening when the melding of the Alo Adhari creates a magnificent view of the beautiful lake and colorful water fountains. There are a total of 4 gates, two each on the north and south sides and one each on the west and east sides to enter the park. And there are two toilets in the north-east and south-west corners of the park.

Although Jamburi Park was built for physical exercise and spending time in the natural pleasant environment, it is crowded here during the holidays. Jamburi Park has now become an attractive place for all young and old due to its beautiful landscape, lake, various species of trees and colorful light decorations.

Jamburi Park is open daily from morning till 9 pm. But from 4 pm to evening it gets crowded. No ticket is required to enter the park.

To go to Jamburi Park you have to come to Chittagong first. You can go to Chittagong from Dhaka by bus, train or car. Various buses including Desh Travels, Tuba Line, Sohag Paribahan, Green Line, Ena, Unique, Shyamoli, Eagle, Royal Coach ply Dhaka-Chittagong route daily from Syedabad, Gabtali or Mohakhali in Dhaka.

Besides, from Kamalapur or Biman Bandar railway station, tourists can travel from Dhaka to Chittagong by inter-city trains such as Tourist Express, Cox's Bazar Express, Suborn Express, Mahanagar Prabhati or Sonar Bangla Express. And to go in less time you can reach Chittagong in 45 minutes by various flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, NovoAir and US Bangla Airlines.

On reaching Chittagong, you can easily go to Jamburi Park by CNG. If you want to go by bus, you can take a bus going to Agrabad and get off at Badam Tal intersection and go to Jamburi Park on foot or by rickshaw.
