Botanical Garden Dhaka

National Botanical Garden is better known as Botanical Garden. The botanical garden is located next to the Bangladesh National Zoo in Mirpur. Spread over an area of ​​208 acres, this botanical garden has around 800 different species of trees. These flora include various types of flowers, fruits, forest and medicinal plants. Apart from the flower gardens, the botanical garden has ponds, ponds and grassy green fields.

The Botanical Garden is unique for a trip to the kingdom of green within the capital city of Dhaka . So thousands of visitors visit here every year. As the National Zoo is nearby, many visitors take time to visit both places.

Botanical Garden ticket price is Tk 30 per person. Entry fee for 6-12 years old is Tk 15. Children aged 0-5 can enter for free. Entry fee for foreign tourists is Rs.500 per person.

Students who come on educational tour can visit the botanical garden by talking to the authorities and paying an entry fee of Tk 1,000 for a group of 100, Tk 1,500 for a group of 100-200.

From March to November, the botanical garden is open for visitors daily from 9 am to 5 pm, but from December to February, the botanical garden closes at 4:30 pm.

It will cost Tk 10 to board the Laguna from Gabtali Bus Terminal and go directly to the Botanical Garden. And from Sadarghat Bus Terminal, you can easily go to the Botanical Garden by paying 25 taka by car traveling through Mirpur 1.

Besides, you can directly go to the National Botanical Garden from anywhere in Dhaka using CNG or your own car.

The price of food in the food shops in front of the botanical garden is very high. So be aware before buying anything from those stores. If you want, you can buy light food from the roundabout of Mirpur 1 or you can come back from the botanical garden and eat your favorite food.
