Chandamari Mosque Kurigram

Chandamari Mosque is a historical structure located in Mandalpara of Rajarhat Upazila of Kurigram District. The distance of Chandamari Mosque from Rajarhat Upazila Sadar is 4 km. The mosque is a combination of Sultanate and Mughal architecture and has three domes. Besides, the Chandamari mosque has three beautiful mehrabs. Chandamari Mosque is believed to have been built between 1584 and 1680 AD as there is no inscription on the mosque.

Kurigram can be reached by buses like Nabil, Haque Special, Hanif, Tanjila and Ena from Asadgate, Kalyanpur and Gabtali in the capital Dhaka. The fare will be Tk 950 to 1400 depending on the bus. Again you can go to Kurigram by taking Rangpur Express or Kurigram Express train from Kamalapur railway station. The ticket price of these trains is Tk 640-2197 depending on the class.
