In 1986, Pirgachha Rubber Garden was built in Pirgachha of Madhupur in Tangail district in harmony with the beautiful nature. There are about 1 lakh 54 thousand rubber trees spread over an area of 3 thousand acres. Anyone with short spare time can visit Pirgacha rubber plantation near Dhaka.
On a sunny day, the golden sun peeks through the green leaves of the tall trees in the Madhupur rubber garden, filling the surroundings with genuine beauty. Decorated in different colors in different seasons, this rubber garden has numerous fruit and flower trees. And passing through the garden is a wide road leading to the garden office. Adjacent to the office is a half-baked “guest house” surrounded by colorful rice canopies and colorful flowering plants. The view of the rubber plantation from the guest house is most beautiful on rainy or sunny days.
A huge rubber factory is located a little away from the rubber garden office. Here, white raw rubber is collected from rubber trees and processed into large rubber sheets. And seeing the various processes of the factory with your own eyes is undoubtedly a great experience. Apart from this, in the middle and end of the Pirgacha rubber plantation, there is a settlement of Garo tribals and a habitat of various wild animals in Madhupur.
